Supervised Fuels Program
Receive a discount on something you use everyday…Gas! All BIACC members are eligible, but you must contact Supervised Fuels to determine whether you qualify for a line of credit. Once your application is approved, cards will be issued to your company for distribution to employees. Participating fueling stations include Pacific Pride and CFN.

Human Resource Assistance
Considering that 60 percent of California employers reported being sued for employment related reasons in the last five years and that the average jury award in those types of lawsuits was $2.5 million, it makes good business sense for BIACC members to ensure that their human resources (HR) are in compliance.

With that in mind, BIACC is pleased to announce that Strategic HR Services has been added to the list of companies participating in BIACC's Member Benefit Program. BIACC members now have access to discounted rates as much as 20 percent on a range of HR services designed to reduce or eliminate employment-related risks associated with your HR function. Services include unlimited telephone advice on employee relations issues such as hiring, disciplining and terminating employees, wage and hour questions, leaves of absence, sexual harassment etc. They also offer on-site consultations and an array of project working including employee handbooks, human resource audits, compensation systems, criminal background checks, drug testing and safety programs.

Annual Membership Directory and other Publications
Each year, we publish a directory of our members for distribution to our members, an important marketing tool as we continue to promote the advantages of "doing business with a member."

The BIACC also produces a monthly magazine called the Central California Builder which keeps you, the member, up to date on association and industry business. Advertising opportunities are available to give your company extra exposure to the complete membership. In addition, the association makes available publications from NAHB and CBIA.

Meetings/Seminars
The Association provides the catalyst for members to communicate thoughts, ideas and opinions with fellow industry persons, as well as gain valuable information, marketing tips, financial updates, construction trends and other educational benefits through meetings and seminars.

BIACC standing committees and councils are formed to address ongoing building industry issues and make recommendations to the BIACC Board of Directors. Industry related affiliations you may wish to join are the Merced Chapter of BIACC, the Sales and Marketing Council and the Membership Committee

The Pacific Coast Builders Conference
Each summer, the CBIA sponsors and produces the Pacific Coast Builders Conference in San Francisco. This show, with its many product and service exhibits and educational panels and programs, is the largest industry show in the United States except for the Annual NAHB Convention. About 2,000 builders register for the conference each year, and some 250 firms have exhibits.
